Our Story
LARIA began as a collaborative research project between Yugandhar Gopu and Ashkan Negahban. As a Research Assistant under Ashkan's mentorship, and with support from the National Science Foundation, Yugandhar worked to bring the vision of an accessible, AI-powered assistant to life.
What started as an academic research initiative has evolved into a comprehensive platform that combines computer vision, augmented reality, and conversational AI to create meaningful experiences for users worldwide.
As the project grew, Nithin Vasudev and YVN Ruthvik joined the effort, making significant contributions that helped shape LARIA into what it is today. Their dedication and expertise have been instrumental in expanding the platform's capabilities and reach.
